Went to Warfield's Pond Park in western Howard County this afternoon and was pleasantly surprised to find a Common goldeneye.  As I was preparing to leave I saw a small falcon flying by the periphery of the park.  I managed to get a scope on it and then watch it fly to the top of a tree where it paused briefly before continuing its flight.
