Nanticoke River--Wicomico County--12/15/2009

Hi Everyone,

I spent a couple hours along the lower Nanticoke River in Wicomico County this morning (15 Dec 2009).  Highlights included 2 RED-BREASTED MERGANSERS, a RED-THROATED LOON and a RED-BREASTED NUTHATCH at Cedar Hill Marina; 59 GREEN-WINGED TEAL in the marsh at the northeast end of the town of Nanticoke (viewed from Nanticoke Rd); and 12 CANVASBACKS mixed in with 289 RUDDY DUCKS at the end of Cove Rd.

All of these locations can be reached from Nanticoke Rd, which is accessed from Business Rt 50 on the west side of Salisbury.  I included the complete list from Cedar Hill Marina below.
