Maren Gimpel and I drove a few back roads in Kent County this afternoon in search of longspurs and Snow buntings. We found plenty of Horned Larks and a few pipits in scattered areas. Our best stop was at the pond in Kennedyville, between 1455-1524 we had:

Ring-billed Gull- 22
European Starling- 105
Brown-headed Cowbird- 100
Rock Pigeon- 40
Horned Lark- ~450
LAPLAND LONGSPUR-2
Downy Woodpecker- 1
Tundra Swan- 12, flyovers
Snow Goose- ~400, flyovers
Cooper's Hawk- 1
