Hi all. I spent some time this afternoon observing the masses of gulls flying back and fourth to and from the Landfill to the town park. Thousands! The best viewing and best light was from the marina parking lot at the Naughty Goose. I saw up to 5 Lesser Black-backed Gulls as well.
Last week I had a Gull there that I am still struggling with. California Gull is a possibility. The photograph is not that good due to the back light and distance.
Here is the Thayer's Gull photos.
