This morning (12/16) at Hains Point (DC).... I scoped a Cackling Goose  
among many Canada Geese moving towards Fort McNair.  With the Canada  
Geese as a backdrop for the Cackling Goose I fully appreciated how  
much smaller it really is.  Also seen were Common Mergansers, Ruddy  
Ducks, and Lesser Scaup.
