Hi all. I am at work and shouldn't be doing this however I photographed a incoming Adult Black headed Gull. He landed in the water and went thru the normal cleaning routine. I have some ok pictures of him in the water. It was back lit. But the flight photo should be great. Bright red beak and red feet. I couldn't believe what I was looking at since I just email Maurice Barnhill to keep me in mind when a Black headed Gull shows up agian over there in Delaware.

I did loss him in large flock of Ring billed Gulls that he seems to want to hang around. I will post some photos later. Busy night tonight. The bird came from the direction of the landfill. Hint, the land fill will be open on Saturday. The best place to view is the town park and the marina parking lot next to the Naughty Goose. From 11 to 3 it is a non stop flight of gulls. Quit exciting actually. Don't forget that there is a Thayer's Gull hanging around too. I spotted it when I will filling my tank up with Gas at the Landfill today. However it wouldn't be a good idea to start photographing while at work, especially since I photographed it earlier in the week.
It wasn't lunch break time when I Fueled up, unlike when I saw the Black headed Gull.
