Lapland Longspurs - Underwood Rd area , 12/31/09

Several good birds today at Underwood Rd, Howard County. The highlights were Lapland Longspur, Cackling Goose, Peregrine Falcon, and American Pipit. 

Note: There is not a good place to park. Do not block the travel lanes. I suggest you park on Underwood Rd, immediately south of Rt 99. Then walk about 1/2 - 3/4 mile north on Underwood Rd and look for the Horned Lark flock. I left about 1:45 pm and several people were trying to re-find the longspurs but they have not been seen since about 12:30 pm. My complete list is below.
