While watching the river in hopes of a Short-eared Owl (it would be the first, but I am optimistic!), we just had two American Tree Sparrows feeding on sunflower chips at the feeders.  They are very uncommon here at our house, not seen annually, and generally don't stay long.  We had one here on Sunday also.
