I covered Anacostia Park this afternoon for the Washington DC CBC. One of the Orange-crowned Warblers previously found there managed to show itself today. It was along the river 200 yards upstream from the point. 15 of the appropriate DC Cormorants were on the river. The gulls, including one adult Lesser Black-back, were all on the sand bars on the park side of the river. Lots of turkey tracks frozen in the mud but no turkeys.
