Hi Folks!

I started yesterday at Huntingtown NRMA. This public area is several
hundred acres with cultivated fields [soybeans this year], hedgerows, deciduous
woodland, scattered pine patches and extensive marsh along the Patuxent

From here I worked my way down the river hoping for waterfowl. Mostly all I
found was ice and flocks of Canada Geese lounging on it. Along the way I
ran into a dozen Horned Larks on Potts Point Road, a White-crowned Sparrow
on Sheridan Point Road, and a male Pine Warbler with Brown-headed and
White-breasted Nuthatches on Lloyd Bowen Road.

Good Birding!
