This afternoon Anna Urciolo birded Big Pool at Fort Frederick State Park in
Washington Co. We were delighted to find a sizable area of open water amid
the ice. This water held a good diversity of waterfowl. Highlights included
1 TUNDRA SWAN, 2 CANVASBACK, 3 NORTHERN PINTAIL, 1 REDHEAD, 5 GADWALL, 1
AMERICAN COOT, and 5 COMMON GOLDENEYE. Complete list is below.
