Not a spectacular day in terms of species diversity. Best bird was a Cackling Goose flying at the back of a skein of Canada Geese heading inland. There were lots of Canadas flying in presumably from the Bay.

One of our security officers had told me he'd seen a Bald Eagle on a nest back before Thanksgiving. I finally found the nest from the top of our meteorological tower this morning. We had a nest that produced two eaglets last year but the nest failed in late April for some reason so we've got our fingers crossed that this one will produce fledglings.
