Marty Cribb just called (12:30 p.m. Saturday, 1/16/10) from the causeway at Point Lookout State Park in St. Mary's County to say that he was looking at a Brant on the Chesapeake Bay side. He said the bird was injured and feared it could become eagle food at any time. It was with a flock of scoters (I think--we lost the cell call at that moment and couldn't get him back). Good luck!
