Neat! It sure seems to move around a lot. As with Nancy's sighting, mine was entirely made up of Common Grackles. I searched through as much of them as possible without seeing anything else.

 Hi Nancy and Rick,
Perhaps the same grackle flock came through my pastures (N39.3532,W769415)
his morning around 9:30 AM. They came from the NW and were headed SE toward
iver Rd. when I lost sight of them
It was an amazing sight to watch them stream by for 12-15 minutes. I have no
dea of the number: upwards of 4000.

Hi Nancy,
I think this was very likely the same flock. On Tuesday evening when I saw
he flock flying towards a roost (?) it was headed due SE of us, which would
ut it in the vicinity of Daisy Rd.(we are maybe 10 minutes north by car
rom Daisy Rd). When I last saw the flock yesterday it was sort of swirling
way towards Hoods Mill Rd., and if it continued south would have been over
aisy Rd at some point. I watched the flock till shortly after 2, so
ssuming their behavior remained the same (swirling, landing, eating, moving
n...) it might eventually have been along Daisy Rd later in the afternoon.

had a similarly-sized single species flock of grackles at about 4:30 this
ternoon along Daisy Rd in Howard County and am wondering if it's the same
ne.
guesstimated 4800 - big emphasis on the guess part. This winter I've seen
ther this or other large grackle flocks along Old Frederick Rd and at
arroll ill Rd in Howard. So far, no yellow-headed in with them.
