Jim Stasz and I had a Common Raven fly over Davidsonville Park around the middle of the day. The bird was heading north, up the Patuxent River. Interestingly, about an hour earlier I thought I heard a raven at Wooten's Landing a little further to the south. And another note of interest I had a bird last March on Rt. 3 within a few hundred yards of the Patuxent.
Other birds of interest around Anne Arundel County included: 4 Savanna Sparrows and 2 Eastern Meadowlarks at Sands Road Park.
2 Tundra Swans, 34 Yellow-shafted Flickers, 1 Eastern Phoebe, and 1 Chipping Sparrow at Wootens Landing
3 Horned Larks on Muddy Creek Road
1 Red-throated Loon, 1 White-winged Scoter, 1 Gray Catbird some place north of Herrington Harbor that I had never been to before.
