During a visit to Blackwater NWR this morning the volunteer at the
Visitor Center reported that their nest cam eagle laid her first egg on
Wednesday, January 20th.  She was on-nest while we were there, and she did
not say anything about intentions for her second egg, but often it comes
within a couple of days of the first, so this may be the day for that one.

 

          The Eagle nest cam of Blackwater is most easily found by going to
the web page of Friends of Blackwater and looking around for it.
