Nancy, 

The hybrid goose was still at Brighton Dam from 4:10 pm - 5:20 pm today. I guess it is a  Canada Goose x Greater White-fronted Goose. Maybe a goose expert could give us a better idea. 

Also present was a male Red-breasted Merganser, 200 Common Mergansers, 14 Hooded Mergansers, Black Ducks, Mallards, 4 immature Bald Eagles, and 1 immature Herring Gull.

Okay, kids - 

I posted 2 composite PowerPoint slides up on Flickr - could someone please tell me what the half that isn't Canada is? Then I won't have to ask the next time. I only cropped the photos and didn't attempt to undo my camera's propensity for overexposure - digiscoped with a point and shoot.
