Had a chilly climb up the 120' meteorological tower this morning. Thankfully there was virtually no wind. Lots of geese streaming in from the Bay, presumably. Noteably, a single Cackling Goose in one strand and a Snow Goose in another. The Snow Goose strand flew so close overhead I probably could have gotten a halfway decent photo with a standard point and shoot camera!

Our Bald Eagles appear to be setting up shop again on the nest that failed last year. They produced two eaglets which disappeared when I went on vacation in late April. We're all hoping that they'll fledge this time around.
