I went up to Oland Road this morning to look for the Lapland Longspurs. At first all that showed up were horned Larks. Then at about 10:30 the Savannah Sparrow showed up and was very confiding feeding directly across the road from me. Finally about ten miinutes later I noticed a bigger darker bird close to the Savannah. There was my life Lapland Longspur. Shortly there after a second one joined and they provided great looks stretching and turning so I could see all sides.
