Hi Everyone,

The feeders were slow today, but there's now a little more open water near the mouth of Rock Creek where it flows into the Patapsco River. My wife Becky and I did some scoping from the point across from our house and had some nice birds. Here's the full list from our yard and the point.

Mallard--41
Greater/Lesser Scaup--123
Bufflehead--12
Common Goldeneye--5
RED-BREASTED MERGANSER--1 drake. Ran back to the yard to see it from the yard proper (embrace the listing madness!). Third yard record after 3/25/09 (4 birds) and 3/7/09 (4 birds).
Ruddy Duck--77
RED-THROATED LOON--1. Rock Creek. Third yard record after 3/18/09 and 4/4/08.

Tufted Titmouse--1
White-breasted Nuthatch--1
