While shoveling this morning I picked up a new Yard Bird in the form of three Horned Larks. They came over low right over my head, flying between the townhouses, wouldn't have even seen them if they hadn't been calling. Actually a first ever Yard Bird for anywhere I have lived, a Yard Bird Lifer.
Oh, and a sign of spring, a Song Sparrow singing in the front yard yesterday!
Happy Shoveling!
