I have also been inundated with birds at the feeders. Keep hoping for something unusual but it is a welcome pastime to watch the frenzy during the storm even if it is all "regulars" here. A large flock of White-Throats, Juncos and a single Song devouring millet under the deck....along with one very large rabbit.
On one of my treks out to the feeders I found a little downy in the snow. She seemed in distress and a little wet. I took her to the shed to dry off and later she was gone. I am afraid there will be high mortality from this series of storms. Was able to take a few pictures of her.
