If you looked at the eBird Google Gadget and saw a Varied Thrush in PG County, don't get your pulse in an uproar. This was submitted in error. The bird is being seen in Herndon, VA and for some reason the submitter made an error in the mapping location and it showed up in MD. If you'd like to see the bird, you'll need to find directions on the Virginia bird listserv or refer to a recent email here on MDOsprey.
