Snowshoes have been my sole means of transportation most of this week, so I
decided to try walking my usual Patapsco scrubland route this morning. To
think that I almost gave those snowshoes away!
Apart from the feeding stations, all areas were very, very quiet. Notably
scarce along the route were chickadees and wrens.
Best bird was a Brown Creeper in the woody edge by the stream. I only see
creepers once a year or so this far from the river.
