Hi Everyone,

For anyone who visits the PAINTED BUNTING in Bowie and enters the report in eBird, please file the report at the city level. This should become standard operating procedure for rarities in residential neighborhoods when there is any risk of disturbance. 

You can do this easily by selecting Submit Observations > Select an entire city, county or state > and then typing "Bowie" and "MD" as the city and state. This ensures that all visits are appropriately scheduled at the homeowners' discretion. Thanks!
