A single Wilson's Snipe was at Schoolhouse Pond this morning around
8:30, on the ice/snow on the far side of the stretch of open water at
the back of the pond. No gulls of any sort on the ice or in the water.
In and around the open water were a pair of Hooded Mergansers and at
least one Northern Shoveler.

Also present were three Eastern Bluebirds, the first I've seen around
the pond this year. Male RW Blackbirds were calling, which is a hopeful
sign.

Good Birding!
