While sitting in rush hour traffic this morning at Military Road and Oregon Avenue, I saw a Wild Turkey casually strolling along the northwest corner of the intersection (the St. John's side). I wanted to "break down" so I could watch it, but decided not to for fear of creating more traffic. This may very well be the first turkey I've seen in DC other than the ones I've seen on Capitol Hill.
