Thanks to Dan Rauch for pointing out the AMERICAN PIPIT at the
Daingerfield Island marina. It was still there at about 1pm today,
and was kind enough to fly over both DC and Virginia. Also of
interest at the marina were 3 PIED BILL GREBES. The pipits were
friendly and walked up and down the railing at the Afterdeck Cafe
patio facing the river and the airport.

And in other parts of DC, 2 AMERICAN WIGEON at the Tidal Basin around noon.

The pond at Constitution Gardens was relatively empty, with only 2
RING-NECKED DUCKS and some mallards.

The LBJ memorial pine grove was officially closed for dangerous trees.
The pines there suffered severely in the two blizzards, and there are
dangling widowmakers scattered throughout the area as well as several
tall trees completely felled by the storms.

 Best,
