This morning (2/15) I saw an Eastern Phoebe and a Tree Sparrow near Dasher Court just west of Oakland Mills Road in east Columbia. The phoebe was perched along the edge of a small brook of open water flowing beneath high tension power lines and the Tree Sparrow was visiting a feeder at a nearby house along Dasher Court. The area is accessed from the pathway between Lake Elkhorn and Oakland Mills Road that runs underneath the power lines.
