Hi all,

   This morning as I was doing household chores (things I put on the back burner when I'm off birding), I noticed many Purple Grackles dropping down into our front yard to feed on the corn we put out for the critters.  In a flock of about 80-90 birds, there were 6 Bronzed Grackles. Also in the mix were Brown headed Cowbirds, a few Red wing Blackbirds, and a healthy population of Starlings.
