Hi Everyone,

This morning (24 Feb 2010) my ornithology class visited a few locations around Ocean City. Our main highlights were at the OC Inlet:

Razorbill--1 flew out from behind the south jetty and landed in the water off the tip of that jetty--cool surprise!
Harlequin Duck--a pair was right in the middle of the inlet when we arrived; great views for everyone
Common Eider--continuing in large numbers, about 40 in view at the same time
American Oystercatcher--1 on the rocks by the wall on the north side of the inlet

The Bayside Development Pond continues to provide nice views of Redheads, but we didn't see the Eurasian Wigeon while we were there.

Have fun,
