Dear All

I did the tour du 'tomac early this morning covering the various gull roost areas around dawn.  The number of gulls were quite high, with 400 plus Herrings in the basin and 3000 Ringers streaming out of the Hains Pt gull roost.  There was one 1st winter Lesser Black-back on the basin but after much looking I think I can officially declare the area free of and uncontaminated by California Gulls.  Pity.
