I went to Poolesville to find the Sandhill Crane this afternoon and found it relatively easily. I got some distant photos for my photography class. However after no more than five minutes security came out and said that I wasn't allowed to take pictures. This is reasonable since this facility could be a target for animal rights activists. There were no signs saying not to take pictures and security let me keep the pictures when they found out what it was. Still just wanted to post this so that we don't get banned from looking at the bird.
