Hi all

Here in Silver Spring, just inside the Beltway of Rt29, I've heard at least three waves of Tundra Swans calling distantly overhead in the last couple of hours (10:30PM - 12:30AM).  Must be a good flight night.

In previous years, I've occasionally been able to run out into the street in time to catch a glimpse of their pale forms in the glow of the street lighting as they pass over, but none of tonight's birds have sounded that close. 

Still, magical and haunting treat here in suburbia!
