Like many others, I heard migrating Tundra Swans yesterday evening.  I got
home in time to take the dog for a brief walk by Greenbelt Lake at dusk.  As
we were returning home, about 6:30, we heard them passing overhead.  What a
wonderful sound!  It was the first time I've heard them in Greenbelt (just
outside the Capital Beltway) in the 20 years that I've lived here.  Species
#136 for my lake list!
