Dear All

I lucked in on what must have been a passing group of 5 Pine Siskins this morning as I was walking in to work.  They were quietly feeding high in a Hemlock tree, calling occasionally, and then after only a few minutes all took flight and headed off northwards climbing high and were gone.

I haven't seen the spinus pinus in DC for ages...
