Hi Everyone,

I was glad to hear that the Tufted Duck stuck around on Wednesday! And it was fun to see the nice photos that Bill and Joe have already posted.

A few birds from yesterday afternoon (17 Mar 2010)...

From Brighton Dam I saw a single HORNED GREBE in both Montgomery and Howard waters. Later at Pigtail (end of Green Bridge Rd, accessed from Triadelphia Mill Rd; see that great Howard County website for everything you need to know), a small group of ducks assembled during a temporary lull in the boat traffic. Included in the group were a pair of RED-BREASTED MERGANSERS and a pair of NORTHERN PINTAIL.

Have fun,
