Hi all,

Yesterday I birded around Worcester County with Peter Osenton and Dave
Ziolkowski. It was quite a slow day, some of the highlights were a Harbor
Seal on the beach on the OSV Zone on Assateague, 5 LESSER BLACK-BACKED GULLS
also on the OSV Zone, and a flock of around 160 NORTHERN GANNETS plunge
diving offshore near the Virginia Line. At the Ocean City Inlet, we were
only able to locate 1 female COMMON EIDER. At one of our last stops of the
day, we located a male COMMON (Eurasian) GREEN-WINGED TEAL, the bird was
found in the first small impoundment south of Rte 12 driving east of Rte
113, this bird is probably the same one Hubick, Small et al found at Truitts
Landing earlier this year, I will post photos tonight when I get a chance.
All in all a nice day to be out!

Good Birding!
