MD Osprey:
Once again, I am going to make a one-time post of a non-Maryland
topic. Below a cross-post from BirdChat of a link to a fascinating
Barn Owl cam from California. The neat thing about this cam is that
you can watch day or night! At times, the feeding behavior and
interactions between the adults can get very intriguing. (I could do
without the social media comments streaming along side, but it is 2010 ...)
In the words of DC's ex-mayor, Marrion Barry, years ago when he was
stopped for speeding at 4 in the morning and then asked by the press
what he was up to at that time of the night, he replied, "I'm just a
night-owl!"
Since this is extralimital, please no follow-on posts to this list ...
Enjoy!
