Mikey and Joanna Lutmerding, Dave Ziolkowski and I looked for the 2 Long-tailed Ducks at Cash Lake [Patuxent Wildlife Research Refuge] during our lunch break today, but, we ran out of time.  However, Dave and I went back this evening and located both of them at 5:15pm on the south end of Cash Lake.  The gate to the fishing pier off Route 197 is not open yet, so, one has to go to the visitor center and hike east towards the damsite to view these birds.
