A long walk at Little Bennett, with nocs carried just in case...well just in case turned up:

Two Palm Warblers
Two Louisiana Waterthrush

(all four just behind the Kingsley School)

AND

One Pine Warbler up in a stand of pines on a trail called Pine Grove.

This park is a reliable spot for Pine Warblers near the campground, but we heard/saw none there today and frankly assumed it was too early. When we heard this bird, it was doing only the Chipping Sparrow song type, and had there been any Chipping Sparrow habitat in the area, we wouldn't have stopped. Eventually, we saw the bird moving, got it in the nocs, and sure enough, Pine Warbler.

Quite a few Field Sparrows, Towhees, and Chipping Sparrows, the latter overlapping and mingling with Juncos and White-throated Sparrows.
