The morning started off a bit chilly but soon turned comfortable. Nice wildflowers--and turtles eventually appeared on the logs to bask in the sun. Ruth Bergstrom congenially led a walk of 8 people at this beautiful location in Harford Co.

The birding was good. Some of our favorites:

Parula (1)
Louisiana Waterthrush (1)
Hermit Thrush (2)
Brown Thrasher (2)
Greater Yellowlegs (1)
Barn Swallow
Great Blue Heron
Wood Duck
Coot
Pileated
Hairy
RT Hawk
Cooper's Hawk
Red-S Hawk
Bald Eagle
Black Vulture
Kingfisher
RC Kinglet
Gnatcatcher
Phoebe
Swamp Sparrow
