I visited several spots today for work and despite not being able to use my binoculars all day, I was able to pick up a few nice birds between Annapolis and Cambridge. Saw my FOY Snowy Egret in the small pond at the base of the Bay bridge on the Eastern Shore side this morning, a couple of adult N. Gannets flying down the Choptank River, a few scaup sp., and a couple of flyover Common Loons. A couple N. Shovelers were keeping the mallards company on one of the roadside farm ponds west of Cambridge. Also saw 2 American Kestrels, a Killdeer, a Great Egret and a flock of about 6 Wild Turkeys on the way to Oxford. Saw 2 Bald Eagles, equal numbers of Black and Turkey Vultures and Ospreys literally everywhere.

Good Birding,
