McAllister.  The flooded fields mentioned are along Rte 331 near the
intersection with Rte 14 south of Hurlock in Dorchester County.

Subject: Hurlock 'Pond' sightings

 

Les,

 

Diversity is increasing at the field pond, south of Hurlock.  This afternoon
(4-16-10), in addition to Greater and Lesser Yellowlegs, there were Pectoral
Sandpipers (3), Dunlin (10), and a single Dowitcher.

 

I'll try to monitor this hotspot as the season progresses.
