I have been trying out a quieter spot in Montgomery for recording night
migrants this spring. This season has been a little on slow side so far
with not many productive nights. Last night was no exception, with only
a few Chipping Sparrows and some DE Junco calls detected.
However, about 3:58 AM, I picked up a really good match for a
Grasshopper Sparrow's presumed flight call. Also, had a Black-crowned
Night Heron pass over around 1:22 AM.
