While at our former home in Bowie to make repairs, we sat outside and reminisced over the many migrants that we used to have there - including the time 2 Broad-wings landed in the yard. No sooner than the words were out of my mouth than a Broad-wing did come to a landing near-by and look us over, while another circled over-head. Purple Martins also zoomed past.
On Wed pm, while we were looking over the marsh at North Beach, a surprise Red-headed Wpkr landed on a nearby phone pole. In the marsh itself, a few Green-wing teal and our FOY Snowy Egrets (2).
