We saw a Broad wing today at School House pond. Must have been a good day for them!

Subject: [MDOSPREY] Broad-wing Hawks over Bowie; Red-head Wpkr at North Beach

While at our former home in Bowie to make repairs, we sat outside and reminisced
ver the many migrants that we used to have there - including the time 2
road-wings landed in the yard. No sooner than the words were out of my mouth
han a Broad-wing did come to a landing near-by and look us over, while another
ircled over-head. Purple Martins also zoomed past.
On Wed pm, while we were looking over the marsh at North Beach, a surprise
ed-headed Wpkr landed on a nearby phone pole. In the marsh itself, a few
reen-wing teal and our FOY Snowy Egrets (2).
