According to the map program that I have installed on my computer called 
Microsoft Streets and Trips, using the program's measuring tool I have 
gaged the distance from the northern tip of the island to the closest 
point in the bay shown as being Harford County waters as 1.4 miles. The 
distance to the closest point of land is just over 4 miles. This 
includes the island and the mainland of APG.
