Thanks for the notes concerning cross peninsula traverses by laughing gulls.
What makes the Cecil observations so unique is that we do not usually get
regularly occuring Laughing Gulls until after the breeding season. We are
all fresh water up here and only see laughing gulls after the nestlings have
fledged further south and east.
That being said, I have had them in April in the past (wayward migrants?),
But I do not expect to see them here until late July or August with any
regularity.
