A Catbird arrived today. Earlier in the week the first Chimney Swifts were circling in the area skies. Lingering are White Crowned and Throated sparrows...and a Junco seen in the past week. BTW i know these are expected to linger into the middle of May according to the YELLOWBOOK (AKA Field List of the Birds of Maryland, Maryland Avifauna #2, 3rd ed., 1996, by Marshall Iliff, Robert Ringler, and James Stasz)...
